i ask this because of a wonderful quote i heard the other day. not sure who said it first but i have watched it come true time and time again on here. "in the absence of reason intellect and evidence the last rallying cry of the democrat is to resort to screaming and name calling.' i have noticed a trend on here that when presented with a fact based argument liberals simply say things like "cons are stupid" or "your an idiot' or "bush is stupid" or "bush is a retard." honestly can you please just make an intelligent argument when you attempt to answer question. now i will say that there are a couple of you on here who actually seem to be educated and well versed.

It works both ways. You know people are only human and the name calling is rather childish but you are generalizing here just a bit with your question. A post out there for all the world to see. Liberals have to be able to make some kind of a contribution to an intelligent argument or I don't think there would even be a group called liberals. Why do you have such an attitude towards liberals simply because your views are different. You should realize that most of the posters here that say that stuff are actually just kids anyway. Anyone with "intelligence" can see that. I am surprised that you take it seriously.

You really ought to read some of the answers given to my questions by some of your buddies on the right before you post something like this. I can't tell you how many ridiculous, uneducated, inflammatory posts I get in response to any question I ask that they can't simply back up with facts. Whomever said that quote you cited (sounds like some lovely person like Ann "in the absence of reason, I'll call politicians f a g g o t s" Coulter) could easily have been talking about the extreme right wing as well. So don't be so quick to judge.

The use name calling and innuendo Is spread throughout all parties. No one party has a corner on the ignorance market. Just look at it this way, conservatives are more apt to notice the ignorant comments of some liberals, while liberals are more likely to point out those made by some conservatives. Neither side is in any position to do it, and it only displays a lack of maturity and intelligence.

you answered your own question ("now i will say that there are a couple of you on here who actually seem to be educated and well versed.") a cpl of people like that on any side of any argument is about as much as can be hoped for..

I haven't been terribly impresssed with most of the "logic" coming from either side of the aisle.
Nor with mainstream US politicians. In my lifetime we've had two fairly competent centrist presidents (one didn't even serve a full term!) and five that were crooks or bumblers or both.

Many social conservatives respond exactly the same way. Whenever someone from the extreme right or extreme left discuss matters, there is no objectivity in the discussion. When only subjectivity exist, the middle ground can never be achieved. Thus, all the inflammatory remarks at the end of the conversation.

Are "non-Liberals" capable of asking intelligent questions???

Come on! There are very, very many intelligent people who have opinions that differ from yours. And I, for one, am sick and tired of being called names by Republicans. I am a Liberal, pro-life, WORKING, mother and grandmother who has had a great education (starting in Catholic schools), and am well-versed in politics AND the use of the English language!!! I don't fit into anyone's mold!

But, I'll tell you one thing: calling me names and denigrating MY choices is NOT the way to convince me that you know what you're talking about.

ok, we could look at figures returned...Granted Detroit spends extra, yet as u mentioned on your argument, the fee of living in Detroit and Idaho are thoroughly distinctive, Detroit in all probability has extra loose breakfast and lunches, extra law enforcement officers, they in all probability could coach extra approximately existence than Idaho and so on. What approximately attempt rankings, what's being taught, that each and every person provides to the ingredient too. Numbers is a interest all of us play to make our suggestions/concepts look respected. I lived in Idaho, and wasnt inspired with the training, I lived in Florida and wasnt inspired with training, yet I grew up in ny and had an superb training concerning Sciences and math, and that they spend a equipment on training. Demographics performs a great area in the proportion of graduates. we could bounce this to and fro for days, yet I nevertheless have self assurance in offering the perfect training attainable and if that fee money then so be it. I even have self assurance if young ones prefer to drop out, carry the mothers and dads in charge. we are between the few countries(Im no longer talking third international style) that has a decrease literacy fee than many different countries...a tragic tribute to our training device.

Frankly, when I hear a logical, well-reasoned argument to support our Idiot King (which is not name-calling so much as it is an exercise in precision), then I will comment accordingly.

I am curious, however: why do you and others continue to ply the rift that currently exists in America between all Americans? Don't you understand how un-American -- indeed, treasonous -- this divisive act is?

Liberals t end to think with their hearts first then the thought is filtered through their mind.
Conservatives tend to think with their mind first then the thought is filtered through their heart.

The liberals are less objective as a result and are more prone to name calling as result of being backed into a corner that their "heart" can't think them out of.
