When going from dark to light, I highly recommend going to a professional, and getting heavy foils, otherwise you might not get the color you want and u won't fry your hair as bad. GOOD LUCK

Okay...done this plenty of times...but remember that everyone is different and you will not always get the same results. when you are going to a lighter shade..you are actually "taking" color out of your hair..so therefore, you are not really "dying" it. I used to be a licensed cosmetologist and I think we have all learned from"trial and error" and keep in mind that anytime you change your haircolor it can be fixed. Not always without damaging it though, unfortunately. This being said, I would..if you cannot go to a professional and just can't wait(been there too)..please don't try to go straight from brown to blonde all at once..you will turn it orange for sure. I would reccomend maybe highlighting it lightly in stages. Make sure you condition condition condition for a few days before. More than likely you will end up "double-processing" your hair to achieve the effect you are wanting..and it's not impossible to do. Do you have a beauty supply store nearby? If so, they can give you some great advice. Just remember to start out with some "not so heavy" highlights..and when you get the desired color from these highlights, then you will have a better idea what it will take to do it all over if this is what you are wanting to do. Regardless of what anyone tells you, there is no..no way..to go blonde from brown without doing some damage..but if you are patient and do it the right way the damage can be minimal. One other suggestion...there is a product that you can add to your haircolor mixture to help keep the brassiness to a minimum...it's called 'red-stopper" or something like that..lot of different brands, but it is a liquid and it's dark purple, but don't let that scare you..it really does help keep the brassiness down. It is a safe product...safe enough that you can even add it to your shampoo. I hope my answer helps you some and I know it is a very long answer...just want you to be careful and not do too much damage to your hair. And keep in mind, whatever method you choose, you might have to seek the help of a professional at some point to do some corrective coloring...don't worry...we've all been there. I am blonde in the summer and every fall I change to a dark auburn..so I have plenty of good and bad experiences! Once I was so impatient and turned it a wild color trying to get some highlights...but it worked out good because when I went to Sally's to get something to fix it..I ended up working there as the manager! If you need any help..please feel free to contact me. And good luck to you! Sometimes blondes do have more fun...lol!

Go to the hairdresser. You cannot dye your hair blonde. You have to strip the colour out (or bleach) your hair blonde, and if you have any red tones in your brown hair, you gonna go orange!!!

I have the same natural colour as you, I use Nice & Easy by Clairol - I used the summer blonde colours and I get loads of compliments about my hair. I would be happy to e-mail you a photo if you want to trust me with your e-mail address.
It's also very simple and quick to use.

while you're making plans to do your man or woman hair it rather is a sturdy theory to bypass to a hair product supply keep at the same time with sallys. the products fee merely as much as what you get in a field yet you have greater form. additionally the products from a professional hair keep get a greater effective carry to the blonde and are alot greater everlasting specifically on the grounds which you already did it as quickly as till now.

pick"dark blonde!!" choose the color which slighly lighter 1 level of ur hair color, to make natural looking looks. If u pick it too light--the result will be weird like showing a lot of orange tone. If u want dramatic change, u need bleach and profesional colorist.

go to a salon. mine went ginger when i did it myself (yes i did get laughed at) and i had to re dye it brown. if you must do it yourself try a highlighting kit not an all over colour.

I would recommend getting highlights rather than an all-over colour.
