If someone shouts out "Stella!!" it's usually a reference to a very famous, classic movie called "A Streetcar Named Desire" starring Marlon Brando and Vivianne Leigh. It's based on a play by Tennessee Williams.
I haven't seen the commercial you are talking about but like I said, that is probably what it is in reference to.

It's likely a take off the film 'A Streetcar named Desire'. Marlon Brando plays a brut of a husband and his wife's name is Stella. He calls her name from the streets in the movie after an arguement.

I must say I'm 99% sure it IS from "A Streetcar Named Desire" I saw the commercial for the KCA's and I believe that was the reference. Hope that helps.

I just saw the commercial too on Nickelodeon..
actually they use this line in :Over the hedge" too where the cat is yelling to the skunk (super funny)
and on Seinfeld where Elaine gets drunk and yells "Stella" to Seinfeld's aunt....hilarious...
they all come from the classic movie though "Streetcar Named Desire"
