its better to keep it in ur computer as a back up..
besides that u can listen to songs while using ur com.
so tat u wont waste too much ipod battery.

yes b/c when you connect your ipod to your computer, it will look for the music that was put onto it and if it can't find it, it will start deleting the music. you can always just add different files and check off what you want our ipod to add or delete. hope that helps.suggestion. get a thumb drive and download your ipod files to that. you can keep it and it's less expensive then wasting blank cds and you upload whenever.

No, you don't have to keep it on your computer. You might want to burn it onto a CD though. Your ipod can crash and die and you might want to have that music again since you paid 99 cents per song for it!

No, you don't have to. But that way you have a backup and need not download/rip it again.

You might argue that once it's on your ipod you should delete it from your computer, because you only bought one copy. (If you bought it)

But honestly, if you did that, you'd be a colossal dick.

The IPod will be ok till the next time you connect your IPod to the PC and try to syncronise. ITunes will tag any file that has been deleted as missing

if you ever want to put it back on your IPOD, then yeah........


my IPOD blew a hard drive....sent it back to APPLE, they sent me a brand new ( BLANK ) IPOD.....and I had to re-load all of my music.......good thing I had all of my music STILL on my computer......
