5, Three before 1942 (two in 1920s and one in the 1930s), 1942, 1980. 6 if you count 1948

There are no National championships for Georga before 1942. Also 1980. In fact they have won or shared only 15 conference titles in their history.

2 once in 1942 with coach Wally Butts they went 9-1 and once in 1980 under Vince Dooley they were 12-0
