yes as they don`t need that much power and a fuel injected 1600 is just as much fun.

now this is due to the amount of fuel being sucked into the engine a 2.0l engine will at rest use more fuel then a 1.2 or 1.8 simple enough but the problem comes when you push the throttle down and take off down the road and the amount of fuel thats sucked into the engine. turbos suck in and pre compress the air mass used in the engine more air and more fuel equals a bigger bang and more power out of the engine and down the drive train. a 6 litre engine is justa waste of fuel with the speeds available on britains roads 2.0l is about the max i would think is worth having . all 4x4s are gas guzzlers and not worth the road space unless they do work for a living but not just wizzing up and down the motorways instead of cars.

cars are fuel efficient up to a point and keeping the speed down to 70 saves bags of fuel compared to 80 or above. they at least have some kind of aerodynamics but try to push a house brick (4x4)through the air at 70+ miles and hour it will drink fuel.

back to your vehicle its border line but keep it serviced and the tyres inflated properly then all should be well

If you're talking about the cars that will have their road tax raised, I'm not sure that 2.0ls will be included (I assume it's a petrol 2.0l? The diesel one's defintely are not gas guzzlers).

Big engined cars and 4x4's I think are the one's that'll have to pay a higher road tax.

I hope it won't be 2.0ls too - I drove an Impreza for a while and was pretty surprised how little fuel that used. I want one of those!

I rented to SXi which I believe is the 2litre, thrashed it all the way back from Stanstead and it only used as much fuel as a Focus - definately not a gas guzzler

yea i replaced into till 4 days in the past. i replaced into using a ninety one Oldsmobile custom Cruiser Station wagon. you need to hear that project coming earlier it even have been given to the place it replaced into going. It replaced right into an excellent tank sized vehicle and a huge gasoline guzzler. i'm so satisfied that that vehicle is long gone.
