Last night I upgraded to Microsoft Vista. I have an Officejet 6310 All-in-One printer and am having trouble printing. I have the printer connected to my home network. When I send something to the printer, it will sometimes print the first page and then half of the second before quitting. I have played with the spooling settings and even tried printing directly to the printer. I can't even print a test page without it quitting after getting half of the MS logo printed. I have no problem printing from my XP computers that are attached to the same network. Anyone have any advice for me?

This is an ongoing problem with Vista's compatibility with legacy drivers, as the printer spool will stop functioning, and sometimes clear any printers you have installed on your system or network. The ONLY thing you can do is wait for an update from Microsoft to address the problem's you are having(I believe there was an update released just the other day which you might not have yet, but don't count on it fixing all your problems), or you can check with your printer manufacturer's website to see if there is an updated driver that is intended for use with Window's Vista. Good luck, and join the crowd, lol.

Wait for the printer manufacturer to write Vista compatible drivers.

In the meantime, take your files elsewhere to be printed, a friend or Staples, etc.
