some believe that the reason we dream is because one's brain must always be active so when we sleep the subconcsious runs wild. there are so many aspects of the brain that we dont understand, dreaming is truly amazing. i myself believe that dreams have hidden meanings, like things that your subconsious is trying to tell you. but cha, its really amazing

throughout our awake state we pick up different stimuli through our senses and it is stored in different parts of the brain. When we sleep the brain must remain active and that's when those different stored stimuli come together randomly to create people in our dreams that we have never met.
