I really love the song "Fields of Gold" by Sting.... Eva Cassidy as well! Would this be an appropriate song to use somewhere in my wedding service? I've heard somewhere that the song is about memory of a past love or maybe about the afterlife, not sure. Lyrics--

Congradulations on getting married, I think it is a cool song , the important thing is what does it mean to you and if you don't mind, based on your taste in music allow me to recomend another for your consideration, In your eyes by Peter Gabriel

I think it is appropriate. According to a website I found "The story is chronological. It is about courtship, marriage, and eventual death." Check out the website to find out more.

I don't see why you can't use it. I love that song too. If your unsure about the wedding, use it at the reception.
