We are blessed......I have a great family, a good job, a nice car, and many friends. I wanted to drive a Lorry 6 years ago so I went to truck driving school and did it, traveled across the country for 4 years doing it, loved it. Now I'm in a job for the Army and I love it too! By the way, I'm divorced 20 years and support my family......I'm independent and very happily divorced!

We are very blessed.
Western women are not like what some of you in Arab countries like to believe.
We own businesses, have the right to choose to work, have husbands and families. There are NO laws limiting us.
We have the right to vote, drive cars, leave the home when we want without asking anyone's permission.
We all DO NOT walk around half clothed, most of us are very modest without having to cover completely up.
There are always exceptions to the rule but, as a whole, we are truly blessed.
I wouldn't want to live any where else. And yes, I have traveled outside of the United States. Because I have, I appreciate the land of the free and home of the brave.
Thank you for asking.

It's okay so far since I am still a student. I just hope I don't get married some day because that means that I have to give birth and raise kids. My biggest fear is giving birth and dying from losing so much blood in the process. In addition, I do not like the idea of raising kids because it will take away my freedom from the pleasures of life like traveling all over the world and learning how to dance and play a musical instrument. I just want to be successful in my career when I graduate.

As I know it, We have more freedom here. The ability to speak & be heard as well as respected for our knowledge & expertiese is common place here. The choice to work or not is dependant on our husbands ability to find a well-paying job that he likes & can be successful in, as well as the personal desire to work outside the home. Many women choose to work because they want to. Because they have something they want to share or do in the world. I don't know how it would be to live your lifestyle....I won't even venture a guess. The way I live makes me happy. I am free to teach my children how to be strong and independant, to make their own path in life. But what is good for me, may not be good for another....and isn't that the beauty of the freedom of choice?

I am pretty pleased with my life here in the U.S.A.
Currently I do not work outside my home. It's a financial strain at times, but I feel it is best for my children. Our biggest challenge is trying to raise our kids to not be so materialistic and be above the influence of society.
