I can not say that I like the team itself (Buffalo Sabres fan to the death!!!!). What I will say is some of the best hockey I've ever seen have been Buffalo/Montreal games from back in the 70's and 80's. Every now and then I've been lucky enough to find an old game like that on tv or online. That's when it was a fast skating, back and forth, even matched game, more so then they are today. I've also seen some outstanding Montreal games on CBC's Hockey Night in Canada when the Sabres weren't playing. I love watching any team from the Northeast Division play, cept the Leafs. F**K THE LEAFS!!!!!!!!

Im a wings fan and i never can back away from a great original six match-up. Montreal is 1 of the best teams in the NHL, if not the best. 24 cups, even a wings fan must respect montreal.

I am a Sharks fan, but have always kept an eye on the Habs. I've always been a Saku Koivu fan but ever since they drafted Kastsitsyn, I've been following them ever so closely. Now that they brought the kid up, I'm watching them all i can from out west here in the states. They have a good team of youngsters forming and will be an elite team again very soon!

dude, they won it in 1993, and before that in 1986. They have 24 stanley cup championships under their franchise, please refrain from random outburst of incredulous sillyness in the future :)
I like the Habs, I'm a leaf fan but when i was very young and first got into hockey i watched them defeat Wayne Gretzky and the Los Angeles Kings after the Kings upset the leafs in a debated seven game series. I've always been interested in Montreal and especially recently with Koivu beating cancer and the Roy-esque fall from grace Theodore had.

I am a Ranger fan. I have nothing against the Canadiens. Koivu is one of my favorite players. My favorite Canadiens legends are Guy Lafleur, Jean Beliveau, Howie Morenz, Bernard "Boom Boom" Geffrion, and Jacques Plante.

It's the most beloved team in the history of the NHL. Of course a lot of people like the HABS.

In 1993 I thought it was very arrogant of their fans to start a Stanley Cup celebration before the game had EVEN ENDED.
I respect them as an organization for their success (although not recently), but I will never LIKE them.
