If you have the entrepreneurial spirit, the fortitude to take a well-calculated risk, and the determination to succeed through hard work, starting your own export business may be just the income opportunity you have been looking for. Thousands of smaller companies in your area have exportable products but they have no idea how to sell them in foreign markets. If you can convince just a few of these companies to hire you as their export agent, you can earn lucrative commissions on sales that you arrange for them in foreign markets.

If you are looking to receive compensation for any services you provide, you do not need to actually collect the money and pass it on.

All you need to do is have your buyer sign an NCND (Non-disclosure document that says he will not "go around" you to deal with the seller directly.)

Then have your seller sign a FPA (Fee Protection Agreement). This document secures your commissions from the seller.

You can find examples of both of these on Google.

You do not need to register as a firm to do this. Its called brokering in the trade.

If you are based in the U. S. you would be well advised to ask yourself if you are familiar with INCOTERMS 2000, as well as what items can and can not be sent out of the U. S. without the proper export licenses.
