if ya a true scot then theres no worries but if your wearing one of these skirts they try to passoff as kilts then no wonder they were laughing.
other questions to answer are is it your tartan and can you still wear it.
still surprised a bloke in a skirt got out of a bar in newcastle alive.
does make me wonder if you realy wanted toshow off your wedding tackle to everyone and not just the section of the populace that you are trying to court. but saying that once they`ve seen the"main event" they are not going to date you to find out whats on offer. your call
