I think they are amazing. Their singer is usually surrounded in mystery, they usually dont do interviews with magazines or tv, and that adds to their great image. Not selling out to the media. Their bassist is amazing, some of their songs are built entirely around their bass. Its as hard and heavy as metal can get without screaming. Maynards voice is amazing, and they are one of my most favorite bands ever. Check out som eof their videos also, they are usually very creepy, some of them are in stop motion with clay, animated, or with performance artists. And if you like Tool, check out A Perfect Circle. Its the same singer as Tool. I love them.

I only like one song by them, ''The Pot'' and it took me 2 yrs of hearing it and my freinds and I sharing a bonding moment over it to even like it...the band, Tool, is way over-rated i think and they suck!

Quite like 'em. Heavy stuff (minus all the shredding). I pretty like the way they use odd time signatures and other 'crazy' stuff in their music
