Does this indicate a positive outcome ?

I had a interview today and at the end of it the interviewer said "I would talk to the HR manager just now and he would revert to you with information on the next steps either today or tomorrow."

It sound positive if he is forwarding you to human resources. They are probably going to do the back ground check and they wouldn't do that unless you were hired. Congratulations....
