Hopefully it's nothing for you to worry about, but for me personally when I started my "period" and it kept stopping and starting, I had an ectopic pregnancy & ended up having to have emergency surgery. I was 6-9 weeks pregnant the dr. said & I hadn't known. I didn't have any "usual" pregnancy symptoms. Anyhow not trying to scare you but if I was you I'd call the dr. theres a lot of things that could be going on & your dr. will know best what to do.
good luck!

This is not a sign of pregnancy. Egg relesed from overies will wait for sperm to contact. Normally the waiting time is about one week. If ovulation does not takes place, it will be discharged, which is called period. Period of bleeding varies on different factors. If you had a second period with in two weeks, it is not so. It is only the continuation of previous one. Blood with mucous membrane, and fibroids, some time struck up at ovarian tube. They will normally take some more time to get released. This should be the reason for 2nd discharge with brown colour. If you are having periods regularly, then take the first one for calculating. If you find any irregularity second or third time also, please consult your Gynecologist. I am unable to give a perfect answer as i do not know your age.

Most likely, the brown discharge is blood, it is just old blood that has dried up. Probably not pregnancy, could just be your hormones playing up. It isn't too uncommon for that to happen. It just means that your natural cycle was upset, by even possibly a illness.
If in doubt, consult a doctor.

when mine started doing that I had a dermoid cyst and didn't know it. I just dismissed it as a hormone imbalance. My right ovary was the size of a softball when they removed it.

It is a sign that you need to go to your doctor for tests. You may have fibroids. You may need a D and C for cleanout.
