I know there are resorts in Palm springs but I live in LA, and am poor. But hey maybe I could try it.

Your expenses at a nudist resort are going to be fairly high, so you might want to consider a nude beach or non-landed club. Southern California Naturist Association has monthly meetings and trips to local clubs and beaches.

There are nudist clubs and resorts in and around LA. In fact, there is a large nudist community there. Do a google search using "nudist clubs Los Angeles"

Being California, I am sure there are dozens of such places there.As they say, only in California.
