I was there couple of months ago.
Dans do not accept euro. You have to change your euros with Danish Crone. Be carefull because of rates. It changes with in the hours of the day due to bank and the change office working hours. After banks closed you have to pay high euros to change. Also changing interest and tax is high so you shuld change your money with the amount you needed once.
Be sure that they even do not accept credit cards even visa. So you will definetly need D. Crone and my propose is change it at the bank.
Have a nice trip. Danmark is lovely country.

Some major stores may accept Euro but not all places so it's best to exchange into Danish Krona. You would find the best rates in Denmark.

You definitely need Danish Kronas in Denmark, because Euros are not legal tender as yet. Not many people will accept Euros.

Never been to Denmark but have traveled in Europe. Euro, if not used there, can be exchanged within Denmark.
