There is never a time when using a condom is unsafe for you or your partner. They are always a good idea if you don't want to get pregnant and if you *both* have yet to be tested for STD's.
While on your period it will make clean up easier for him but you'll both want to take a shower right away, and probably change the sheets. Try putting a towel down or having sex while in the shower, it will make things easier.
But always always always practice safer sex.

Condoms are not 100%...there is always a chance to get pregnant. sperm can live up to 72 hours in the woman's body after sex and if an egg was release a day or 2 early.. and for some freak reason the condom had a pin hole..you got yourself a bouncing baby of joy...

Safe for what? The observed failure rate for condoms against pregnancy is 10%. Add STD's and viruses, there is some reason to say that they are not safe.

Yes, because even tho you think you are in your safe period your system may be a bit off so you could get pregnant if you don't use one.

OFCOURSE! Not using is the unsafe part. There is no such thing as a safe period. I've tried that rythm method. Every woman's body is different, you can still get pregnant.

pills are better i think if u only have one sexual partner... condoms? i dont really think they are safe...
