should i buy northern strike for beatified 2142?

I don't have northern strike, but I did buy the expansions for battlefield 2 and they were allright. I got them too late though...just as bf2142 was about to come out, so I ended up selling bf2 and losing all that money.

If I were you then I'd do what I'm going to do (if that makes sense) and not buy the expansions until i'm getting bored of the original game. There's no rush after all. Anyway, you may wan't to save the cash for crysis or spore or one of the other good games that are slated for the next year.
