Your CMOS battery is on its way out so all you have to do is take off your computer case and you will see a little battery on your motherboard... take it off and go down to your local computer store and get a new one..

This happened on a computer work and it was to do with certificates. The access certificate had not been updated and each time the user logged on it returned to the date of the last certified date
If it's a home computer could be the battery

Set the date and time and year correctly.
Download this clock .You may like the Digital display and other uses.
Download: ss20-ENG.exe (~1.6Mb)

check whether this clock also shows 2005.
Then the battery ( cell 3V) is to be replaced.

Probably means your bios battery is flat and needs replacing.
