There are gates to hell in Elizebethtown, Kentucky. They are real. Noone goes down there, and we went once and you could hear screaming voices of people pleading for their lives. It was real. The same voice can be heard if you go there at night anytime. It's down a long hwy that turns into a dirt road that leads to a dead end in the forrest. Thats were a gate is. Another is right outside of highland Falls New York a huge valley that leads to hell. If you look at google earth around highland falls and zoom in you will see the name Hell Hole, New York. It is not on any other map or atlas that I know of.

The "Gates to Hell" originated from France which translates to"La Ported el `En fer" back in 1880. The "Gates to Hell" actually is the name of a monumental sculptural group work created by the French artist Auguste Rodin. His work was commissioned by Directorate of Fine Arts. He was asked to sculptor an inviting entrance to the future site of the Decorative Arts museum. I have no in cling on where they got Kansas out of that!

I don't believe of those so called 'Gateways' that open to hell or other worlds or parallel universes, they are nothing in my opinion but science fiction and there has never been any evidence to support what you are saying.
If any were true, don't you think there would have been someone throughout history who would have already tried entering that gateway for proof?
I think you are mistaking this in some what with the religious belief of there being seven level of Heaven and hell in which the actions you do in this life determine which level you start on after you die. In the case of hell, the more evil you are on Earth, the more you are near the stanic level (which I surmise would be the last seventh level). In heaven, the goodness of your life, the higher in levels you would be in understanding knowledge, the universe, meaning of life and all that is yet to be.

Not sure about that, I assume the entire state of Kansas might be the gate of Hell, who is to know? God did not put a map to the gates of Hell in the bible.

The gate to hell is in reality, if it exists, a transition to a lower plane of existence, so there could be no 'physical' gate on the earth where living people occupy!
However volcanic vents do exist in the earths crust, and I'm sure that might give some the appearance of hell!

In Greek mythology there is a cave called Avernus (alternately: Aornus) which Aeneas uses as a gate to the underworld. Avernus is a real place, very inhospitable, so it's easy to see how the ancient Greeks thought it was a gate to Hades' realm.
FYI, Avernus is Greek for "no green" (as in, no plants) while Aornus is Greek for "no birds." This is a clear indication that Avernus is a volcanic vent that occassionally gives off toxic gases.

Guarded by a seven headed dog named Cerberus, nice pet. Aeneas really liked him, when he toured hell.
