I submitted a url to a famous blogger because I knew that he always posts information about airline security. He posted a link to the original article rather than my blog post about it (which isn't unexpected), but he didn't credit me by name in any way.

Is it common when you find something in someone's blog to reference the original source without any credit to the person who you found it through?

Ex. Blogging stuff you find on slashdot with no credit to slashdot?
