To all the biologists out there

Have you ever heard of Ron Laskey and his collections of songs called "Songs for cynical scientists"?
They are just hilarious and so in touch with the lfe in a lab.
We have bought the album a few weeks ago and just can´t sop playing them in our iTune at work!

Well done Ron!

I forgot to mention that Ron is my scientific "grandfather" as he was the boss of my previous boss. He is great as a person, too, you are right!

He is cellular biologist himself (has been working with in vitro egg extracts studying the mechanisms of DNA replication). THe songs are addressed to all scientists, so no danger of lab gang fights there at all!

I have had a copy for many years: also his second album (More songs..). I also had the pleasure of meeting him, and he is just as entertaining in person

I haven't heard about Laskey. I'd be worried that playing something like this would confirm suspicions that lab scientists are nerds. I could just see molecular biologists beating the snot out of the biochemists because of this type of music. I won't support anything cynical that promotes lab gang violence, sorry.

:P

No never heard of him.
But the title suggest several songs to me.
'Burning Down the House' - (sorry forgot)
'How can we sleep when our beds are burning' - Midnight Oil
'Hyperactive' - Thomas Dolby
