Everybody tells me that I need to get a fake book but I don't know what they are talking about. Can anyone help me out?

Fake books are all about giving you the needed music that allows you to play regular known pieces of music. Wherever you live is a music store nearby. Ask inside to see afake book.

A fake book is like a real book.. It contains hundreds of standard jazz songs..Like a jazz repertoire With chords and song lyric.. It's a must have if you're a jazz musician.. Check this:
