i heard that one is faster than other, and that they are built with another technology

but i couldn't find anything on the web

Core 2 Duo are better than Dual Cores as they are more enhanced for dual core operations and consumes less power doing much more. Dual cores are actually 30% less powerful than core 2 duo and not that energy efficient.

Core 2 duo price is also twice that of a dual core Pentium D.
Core 2 duo has more enhanced performance , instructions, use of technlogy than the Petium D.

But you can overclock a pentium D to perform as much as a core 2 duo with enough cooling.

I think that CoreDuo and DuoCore mean the same thing. The Core Duo is two Pentium M (laptop) CPUs in a chip. Core 2 Duo is the latest technology to replace Pentium 4s. It is based on Pentium M CPU but has enhanced performance in certain areas.

mayb u're referring to d difference between Core 2 Duo and Pentium D? erm... simply put : the pentium D's are the 1st generation of d dual core technology... whereas Core 2 Duo is the more refined version of it.

there's no such thing as duocore.it is just core duo being wrote backword.if u need to know about intell processor, just go to www.intell.com.or u can search about intell's dual core processor on wikipedia.

i think its the same but the common i know is duocore......its the processor that made by intel
