Imagine you're an employer and your sons 25. If someone put in a job application with the name Spiderman on the front of it what would you do? Laugh and throw it in the bin. It may be a fun name until he's about 7 years old but after that it will cause him problems. Sorry to disagree with you.

Are you joking? Do you hate your unborn child? Why would you do that to another human being? If you love that name so much I suggest you get a pet and name them Spider-man.

Remember, Spide-man Williams may sound 'cute' to you, but will your child see it that way when they are in their teens, or 20's, or when they are even older? I doubt it.

Excuse me - but you must be mad.

How can you do this to your child? Do you want to groom your own ego and show everybody how creative you are or what?

Do you think of the laughing stock you are making out of your child when it is at school and teased by everybody who makes fun of it?

Or who someone will take him / her serious in the job later?

Your behaviour is irresponsible.

Why don't you name him "bullied mercilessly at school" and have done with it.

Get a grip, if this is not a wind up, I think you seriously need to get out more and turn your TV off occasionally Either that or ur pregnacy hormones have turned ur brain do-lally.

it's a bit cruel, but i read somehwere that there were 9 baby Gandalfs registered in the uk last year, so each to his or her own i guess.

Why don't you go for the next best thing:
Peter Parker Williams

you'd know it was a spiderman reference, and in school he'd just be Peter and not get bullied?

It is cute for a small child.I like it.But think about your child growing up having the name spider man. It's very strange.I don't think he will be very happy wth his name in the future

You would really subject your child to the ridicule he will suffer with that name?
Might be cute to you but you don't have to live with a name like that for the rest of your life.

WOuld you like your name to be Cat-woman? Your child will hate you. Your child will not like all the attention drawn to him by his name. Good or bad name the child will resent you for it, if people are constantly in his face about his name.

Think something more new and don't typecast your child with that name. Not only this he may be bullied by that name. If you love this name you can always call him by this name at home. But think something more meaningful and try your child achieve those meanings that his name depicts.
