When we kill (sacrifice!) any animal for our food, fun or necessity (for example, killing the man eaters) for any reason, we should feel in heart about the innocence of that animal. However, we are to kill animals for our food, necessity and many other justified reasons (if not for just fun).
Anyway, when we are to kill any animal, we should think about the best possible outcome from the sacrifice of that animal. If we are to kill an animal for our food, we should choose the available biggest one so that one 'killing' can save many other small ones. Under this consideration, I would prefer a cow or bull rather than chickens goats or sheeps.

But if it was a family BBQ I'd stick with the traditional Roadside Squirrel or Raccoon. If it was a Sunday after church BBQ- I'd go for the wild hog, deer, and BBQ ribs.
I'd stay away from chickens and goats- chickens have to many feathers and goats meat is pretty tough.

if u meant to ask what our fav bbq animal is, like cow or whatever, u need to rephrase ur question, and put it in another category.
