i had my ipod for 4 weeks and it broke i dont have the reciept what do i do to get a new one someone ordered it online for me with my name engraved.

they also said they will send me a package and im suppose to put the ipod inside and mail it to them what should i do.

Ask the person who bought it for a copy of the receipt, even if it's just the e-mail confirmation. Without some proof that you bought it or that someone else bought it for you, and how long ago it was purchased, you are pretty much out of luck on getting it fixed or replaced under warranty, though you might be able to pay to have it repaired.

they will fix it if possible if not they will let you know that you will need to purchase another 1. if it means that much to you just send it off and see what happens. if they find they that the fault is not yours then no problem but if they find the defect your fault then you will have to pay. if it's cheaper than a new one then good job but it it's more then you have a decision to make. good luck. hope that helps.

Get the person who ordered it for you, to see if they still have the confirmation email, if not..go on the website it was ordered from and contact their customer support - they should help you!
