That's why people should seriously take their time before getting married! I had seen my wife at her worst, and she had seen me at mine, before we got married. I had a friend who hadn't though, and he called me one day and said "WTF, I woke up next to the swamp thing!!"
It's funny, but marriage is being able to be comfortable around one another without worrying about all of your imperfections.

LOL!! When I married for the first time I had seen my future wife several times at her worst!! All scraggy haired, oily faced with outbreaks, and seriously hung-over more times than I care to think about now. Was it a shock? Not really, because I was also really hung-over and didn't care at the time! Still, now I wonder what the h**l I was thinking when I married her (we are separated now for over 15 years-she refuses to sign the papers for a divorce still!)

i was dating my wife for 2 years before we got married. We moved in after 6 months. I have seen her at her best and worst. In my eyes, she is still the most beautiful person in the world. If she is dolled up and ready to go out, she is gorgeous. If it is Saturday morning and she just woke up, messy hair, no make-up, and stumbling around the house trying to get that morning shot of coffee, she is still hot. I find her more attractive when she is at her worst because that is true beauty. Anyone can have a make up job and look good, but it takes a real woman of beauty to look her best when she is at the worst.
