You can earn 40,000+ nps by playing games. Just keep playing, even if you're not good at it. If you're really looking to earn nps. just play every game 3 times until you think that you have the highest score you could possibly get. Open a shop and sell any non-essential items you find and the items from the dailys.

Play the games, find one you're good at, and don't send your score until you think you've gotten the best you can for the day. Really, the games can get you thousands of NP a day, alone! Play all of them and send your score until you're numb, if getting NP is really important for you.
Also, there are the different once-a-day area visits, such as the shrine, the tiki tack guy, and whatnot.
Try googling "earn money on Neopets" and there should be plenty of guides for you there.

if you have less than 2000np, you can go to soup kitchen to feed your pets and you can earn np by answering survey or play games. GO to faerie foountain, fishing, lost desert and monthly feebies...

well maby if you fight monsters or maby try some quest that could work i dont know i've never had a neopets. or you could try going differnt places and finding money.
