It depends upon when they have started using it.... a grown up child which has been using it right from birth need not be told much..... but a young child who was playing well until yesterday, needs to loose a limb unfortunately will be worried badly..... they feel criticised by their fellow members, friends, brothers or sisters.... they might feel that they have lost their life goals....say a dancer or a football player looses his or her limb.... they need to be rehabilitated and given vocational training......that is help them to live the best with what they are.... make them feel that they are in no way inferior to other normal people or even to themselves if they had not been disabled.....all this could be done with hearty care and love... and also learning the method of doing it.....for this one needs to stay with them....live their life....understand them better.....

The use of aids.appliances does have a major impact on the brain of the children. There are many reasons for this and i am not the best to judge them. The most important to any person is the self-confidence. In Children this is at the build up stages and when physical disability is with them they shrink in their life most of the times. So in order to avoid such problems occuring with children its important to constantly educate the child of his good things and how he can leverage it more to become the best. its also important to point out the weakness that others have in them even they are physically fit than him. What matters most is the thought process of the Childs brain .Care should be taken that this is for the positive side and prevent any negative side to creep in. This negative may further aggrevate into anger, hate et all based on the conditions the child has to go through in his life. With more no of people knowing how to re-produce but not the guts to take the responsibility of it, its time there is awareness created to address such problems.
