Depends on your field. In some industries, being fired at 40 is death. In some, that is where the action is.
And looks always help whether u r 40 or 20. Good looking people usually earn more than their average to ugly counterparts (especially women).

I got a Realtor license at that age and worked in that field until I was 50 and then divorced my husband and needed a full time job with benefits and temped awhile until I worked one where we had a mutual meeting of the mind that I'd stay. It cost them a lot to buy me from the temp agency. However, a friend's wife is 37, graduated in Dec with her second degree and can't find a job. She's very attractive woman and looks about 25. You just don't ever know. I've talked her into temping so she is going to start doing that on Tues. I guess we'll see.

It rather relies upon on the way you cope with your self emotionally, bodily, and mentally. in case you consume suited, workout ordinary a whilst, socialize, and stay as lively as you're you able to'll likely be pleasing consistently (i do no longer probably be attentive to while you're i'm in elementary terms assuming.) i'm probably going to look like an 80 12 months old with the help of the time i'm 40, on the grounds that I enable each and every thing bottle up (yet i'm studying the thank you to handle it.) i'm advantageous in case you cope with your self suited, and don't enable any guy walk throughout you you would be fantastic, because of the fact rigidity is the main suitable explanation for wrinkles and all of that crap often.

Do u mean first job? If so, they always prefer hard working, inexperienced, not tired, low-paid people. Reaching your 40s, normally, you have accumulated experience for which you need a high salary. So, unless you have required expertise, competition is very high! As for looks, the "package" always makes a difference, but it cannot replace what's inside!

If I was ever turned down for a job because of my appearance, I would take that company to court for discrimination. And no, if you are 40 and a qualified professional, you should have no problems finding a job.
