How many weeks are you?

I had my son at 38 weeks and for about 6 days before my moods changed and I became really irritable, also was very restless would pace from room to room not knowing what todo with myself.

So hormones can be an indication of you going into labour soon, also look out for a Show (cervical plug), lower back pain, period like cramps, and Braxton Hicks (practice contractions) these will get stronger and more frequent the nearer to labour you get.

There are a few Old Wifes tales to encourage the start of labour if your at the stage where you have had enough: Spicey Food, Sex, Hot bath.

But at the end of the day the baby will come when it is ready and not before.

I wish you luck xx

Not necessarily. Good indications of imminent birth are a "show" - discharge that shows cervical plug has come loose, contractions or lower back pain, restless feeling, waters breaking.
Hope it all goes well for you.
