Where do i find a genuine paranormal investigator/medium to visit my home?,I cannot afford to pay -?

My house,tho modern and fairly new has an awful presence in the upstairs,one bedroom is freezing,has a rotten smell that comes and goes,the other bedroom everyone feels bad in and cannot sleep,I cannot describe the atmosphere-just BAD,oppressive, anyone who has visited has trouble staying awake in the living room,and too much time in there,the most upbeat person gets exhausted,lethargic depressed, my partner and i sleep downstairs now and can hear someone stamping around upstairs often,the details of it all are too many and long to go into, from lights flashing on and off to cats walking then dissapearing-can anyone help?

This doesn't sound like a pleasant situation to be in at all. Look on the internet for nearby paranormal groups. Before you have anyone come over ask them some questions. Find out if they are experienced in cleansing and if they would be willing to do that for you. Make sure they have plenty experience, don't just let anyone try it. They should NOT charge you. Most groups do not charge, we feel that getting into someone's home to do research is our payment. In the meantime be forceful and tell the entity that this is YOUR home and you will not tolerate being harrassed. Pray and tell them to look for a light where they will find help. Be firm and try not to be afraid, fear will not help. GOOD LUCK

your local spiritualist church would definately know of someone who could help to clear the house of any trapped spirit or bad energy.Houses retain energy from events that have happened there, whether an old or new house.it could even be the land that the house was built on.you could try sprinkling salt in each corner of the rooms in the house, and say a prayer, but maybe best to get a proffessional in.good luck.

I would suggest you get an expert on houses, to look for such things as mold or a dead animal that might have died inside the panelling or under the floor boards, or maybe you have a waste pipe that is disconnected or some thing. I am not a believer in mediums and so, I would be very sceptic on such a person.

Don't know where you're from, but an old friend of mine does paranormal investigations. He's in Great Yarmouth, England and his website is called Paranormal Dimensions. He's done heaps of investigations, not sure if he's still operating but you should give him a try - he really knows his sh!t.

I agree with someone else that you could approach your local spiritualist church and have a word with them for advice and their experience.
However, it also seems to me that this could be something to do with gas fumes etc, as you say no one can stay awake!! This is dangerous, ask at your local authority for them to check it out first. Also speak to your local church for advice.
