The original Ku Klux Klan was created after the end of the American Civil War on December 24, 1865, by six educated, middle-class Confederate veterans from Pulaski, Tennessee, who were bored with postwar routine. The name was constructed by combining the Greek "kyklos" (circle) with "clan".
Ku Klux Klan (KKK) advocates white supremacy, antisemitism, racism, anti-Catholicism, homophobia and nativism (opposition to immigration). The KKK often uses terrorism, violence and acts of intimidation such as cross burning to oppress African Americans and other groups.

The Ku Klux Klan is an organization dedicated to the elimination of African Americans, Homosexuals, Wickens, Foreigners, and pretty much everyone except White Christian Americans.

I was surprised to see that they are still around. Just a few days ago there was a rally in Stephenville, Texas (only a few hours from where I live)! BAD BAD BAD!!!!! Their website is www.kkk.com if you want to see what these crazy people are all about.
