i think it started in prison, with belts being removed incase they get used to lynch people or used to commit suicide....then tw@ts thinking it's cool to be gangster and copying the style...yeh, really cool....lets "pretend" to be hard!
i hate all this emo stuff....probably cos before i had my baby 2 years ago i was skinny, now i'm too fat to wear skinny jeans!!

Well I definitely agree with you. My son is 23 and he did dress like that...not so much now thank goodness.
But from what I understand it was kind of a prison look. Because when you get arrested, they take your belt away from you and this causes your pants to hang down.
But some other styles I could do without are piercing your nose, tongue, cheeks. Boys wearing their hats turned sideways, or the newest thing...leaving the store tags on stocking caps.

I think it looks stupid too and I'm 21 years of age. The trend actually got started in jails and then moved to the streets. I have a fashion trend that ranks with that one...girls wearing their jeans so low that their undergarments show. I don't see how men can find it attractive and o these girls realize that not only men can see their undergarments? I wish people would just buy clothes that fit!!!

That trend is said to have started in the prisons of the States where it is said that those that wear their trousers low are advertising their homosexuality by slightly showing their ****. At lot of young males know this even though they are against homosexuality, but fashion for the most part is kept alive by mindless sheep.

I hate that!!!
There used to be a lad work at my place who did it, the worst thing is you`d notice his pants didnt change for a couple of days!
I just want to go up to the boys that do it and pull their trousers up!!! lol
Another fashion I dont like is this re-invented footless tights business. they cost about £6 and its not even a full pair!!!!!!!!! scandalous!

It's a prison thing. The latest one in th UK is wearing a rosary even if you are not catholic. Annother favourite is to turn their clothes inside out. Some will also roll one trouser leg up.

I think it's a really nice look!
What's wrong with you peeps?
It's riveting....Wondering when they will fall right down!
Next they will probably wear thier Jeans over their heads and their legs through the sleeves of their tops.
Can't wait for that to come about.......
