I would be upset and feel like I was cheated on...but since it wasnt really a realtionship I couldn't really get too mad....Probably would be time to end it since you cant trust this person...If it were me I'd end it.
Hope this helps a smidge....

I couldn't do a "friend with benefits". I've given this alot of thought, and I'm just not capable of the "gray" area this falls under.
If you had agreed to monogamous, then you were cheated on. I'd have to drop the "benefits" at the very least, and possibly the friendship.
I'd be hurt. Although, I have to tell you I don't think you can have benefits that are monogamous and not a relationship.

I think the "with benefits" portion outweighs the "friends" appelation. Unsafe sex can cause the mixing of a lot of little beasties, but even safe sex causes the mixing of emotions, whether that is denied or not. I think it is time to redraw the lines once sex enters the picture. Like they say in, "When Harry Met Sally", "Men and women can't be friends, because sex always gets in the way." That can be broadened even to same sex realtionships when sex is involved. Now unless your friend is willing to let you have sex with his new partner. . . .

If it's monogamous, I think it's moved past the 'friends' with benefits stage.... Someone's trying to have their cake and eat it too

Yes you were cheated on. Yes it's time to end it.
And then I would wonder where my self-esteem was for allowing myself to be in such a situation with a man who won't even call me his boyfriend. Not to mention the fact there are risks with diseases.
You can do better then that!

if feelings have grown and hurt been inflicted it's time to end the whole relationship... move on especially if things are one sided.
