It was while I was showering that I noticed it was itchy on the insertion hole of my vagina and it only itched when i touched it. After a few hours i checked, it was still itchy so I looked through a mirror to see if maybe something was wrong.. and everything seemed alright until I saw inside the insertion hole, there was some white substances. it looked thick white.
It doesn't hurt at all. No blood. No discharge. And its not swollen nor red.
It just itches a bit in the insertion hole.
what could this be? Is this an infection? And what can I do? I would like any suggestions other than hospital. thank you.

yes it sounds like thrush to me also, you can get creams and pills from the pharmisist, or get an appointment as the docs. I find if i just keep the area clean and dont have sex for about a week it goes away by itself. good luck

What you describe is an active organic mucus, otherwise known as "yeast", and is referred to as yeast infection.

The itching is caused by active movement of organisms in the yeast.

There are mild feminine creams sold over the counter for treating early symtoms of yeast infection. If this treatment works according to instructions on the package then use a MILD Douche as a followup cleanser when being sure the infectious situation has been eliminated.

If the condition persists, you have no alternative but to see a GYN for the professional care needed.

When using a douche...always use a MILD solution and do not douche often as you need the internal organisms created by your body which are a necessity for combating foreign and potentially dangerous organisms from out-source entry.

If you are sexually active you MUST speak to your partner about the importance of genital hygene.

Peahi Wah......not only is it not the "insertion hole" it is not the labia....labia are the lips on the female sex organs. What you are talking about is the "vagina" the actual place that the penis is "inserted" or a tampon is "inserted."

What you have sounds like a yeast infecion. See your doctor to get treatment. As your request answers other than going to the hospital I wonder if health insurance is a problem for you. If so, make an appointment at your local health department/clinic

I'm not trying to be rude but it's not called "the insertion hole" it's your labia. You should know the parts of your body. No shame in it.

You might have a yeast infection. If this is your first one you are NOT supposed to treat it yourself because it may be some other type of infection.

You could have something called Bacterial Vaginosis.

Remember, it's possible to have no symptoms, some of those symptoms, or all of the usual symptoms. This is why you should see a physician since it's your first time dealing with something like this.

When washing DON'T USE the fancy product in the shops like vagisil and femi wash becuase the have parfum in the substance and it can effect and irritate the vagina.

Twice a day bath your vagina in salt water then when it dry wipe pure olive oil or almond oil on it with cotton wool.
If the is no improvement you NEED to go to a sexual help clinic (it's not the hospital).

Get tested for everything

If your sexually active make sure protection is used ALL THE TIME and i don't mean the pill becuae you can still catch std's.Condoms and Femidoms etc.

Keep your vagina clean, every day wash it twice a day at the minimum.Good luck and i hop it clear's up

i'd carry off the douching to shrink down the opportunity of introducing any an infection to the realm. Is monistat for thrush? if so, communicate for your physician earlier making use of this medicine basically to confirm that's secure for use at the same time as pregnant (that's what the monistat information superhighway website recommends). As for own toys, see you later as they're clean and used with care, i do not imagine its a difficulty. Masturbation and sex are superb at the same time as pregnant, so tender toys should be ok too. If any soreness or bleeding occurs, quit making use of them and seek for medical advice.

Sound like a simple case of Thrush. Get it checked by your doctor but it not hard to clear up.

It sounds like it could be a yeast infection. You need to see your dr to find out if it is. If it is indeed a yeast infection he will prescribe something to help clear it up.

As has been mentioned, it just sounds like Thrush. No big deal and easily fixed, no need for hospital, your local GP will be able to confirm the diagnosis and help you.

Use veginal wash. you can buy it from any pharmacy. Betadine is great and you can use it regularly after your period to make sure that you're all clean and healthy. if the itching didn't go, then you need to see a doctor!
If you use tempons that might be the reason and you need to stop it for a while... feel better soon :)
