harry himself would have to die so there was no possibilty for someone to continue the books even way in the future when JK is dead.

Daniel Radcliffe Speculates the Death Of Potter

Harry-Potter-DiesA lot of people are speculating that Harry Potter will die at the end of the seventh book in the series. I hope he does... not because I'm not a huge Harry Potter fan... but because that would be a great ending to the franchise and a very gutsy move on the part of Rowling.

Even Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe is throwing his two cents worth behind the idea of a dead Potter. The good folks over at Digital Spy give us this:

He (Radcliffe) told the Daily Record: "It may be the only way the evil Voldemort could be killed is if Harry dies, because there is a strong connection between them."

I agree with him. But for that to REALLY work, they have to make Voldemort a lot more menacing than he has been. In the movies he just feels like another typical bad guy, instead of this ominous dread that he's supposed to be. If they can better portray him... then an ultimate sacrifice ending to destroy him would be amazing. Just a thought.

I think it'll be more exciting than the other parts and i die for july 21st to come soon. I also feel sad b'coz it's going to be the last book and there won't be any books.
I think, in the deathly hallows Rowling would reveal that snape is not a death eater and dumbledore told him to do so b'coz of a grand plan to destroy the death eaters(i can say that dumbledore is dead b'coz rowling had already said that in an interview). Snape had done everything without asking anything whatever dumbledore said in the first 6 books. And he abides these words also and so he kills him. I think the flashback will come in book 7 and so it'll be more exciting.
Rowling had told that there will be many deaths in the incoming book. So there is much less possibility for harry and his friends to die. All the death eaters will die, I reckon.

Therefore it's going to be a really nice one...

My first choice is Voldemort. How can the series end if he's still alive? And I am sure that quite a few death eaters are going to die. Some of the good guys are going to die too....may be one of the Weasleys. And I guess Harry might die too but I am keeping my fingers crossed. I think there will be alot of deaths. After all there's a war going on.

I don't think it will be Harry, because J.K. Rowling stated that the seventh was her favourite book. How could it be her favourite if Harry dies? I think Severus Snape will die, and also Draco Malfoy. Also, remember that Harry saved Wormtail's life, so Wormtail owes him his life. Possibly one of Harry's close friends, most likely Hagrid, if so. I hope Voldemort dies, though if he does, he'll probably come back as a (harmless, but never the less real) ghost, seeing as how he's afraid of death.

First of all Ron. Because all the people that Harry liked were dead at the end. And then maybe Harry himself or Voldemort. That is depended on Rowling'd decission about the end of the book.

Voldemort would die killing Harry on his way. Ron & Hermoine would die trying to save Harry & Prof Snape would live a long life with Hagrid as his only friend.

I think that a few of the minor players would die.

Snape would be one of them. I think that his horrible behavior in the prior book is a setup by Rowling to make us believe that he isn't acting under Dumbledore's orders to infiltrate the Dark Lord's group. I suspect that he will have some sort of turnaround and will sacrifice himself to save the good guys.

Of course, that's just a zany theory. And whatever Snape may do in this series; it still doesn't justify that he killed big D!

I read that several authors including Steven King wrote and told J.K Rowlings would be making a big mistake to kill off Harry himself, they warned that the public would not be at all happy with the out-come since we have been "cheering him on" all of these years.

I hope that it is not a character that we have truly grown to love, my vote is for Professor Snape. I hope he gets it in the back too.
