There is no justification for a betrayal--it is silly, immature, destructive and disrespectful----all reasons to get rid of him. He may have a disease so tell him to go to the girl he was with--they deserve each other. You need to get a doctor for a check up--hope you didn't sleep with this guy.

you have to understand that people make mistakes. to believe that your spouse/anyone will not falter sooner or later at something, will only set yourself up for some major disappointment. we are not perfect, there is no such thing as a love so pure, it cannot be tainted or harmed. temptation's a bit*h, and there is no justifying it, it either accept it or don't. I'm a guy if you couldn't tell already, but that doesn't mean i don't have a point. be a realist everyone! less head/heartaches, more peace and forgiveness.

When you marry you take a vow "for better or worse". It works for husbands and wives. We aren't always perfect. Everyone in their lifetime will do something they regret. Forgiving someone for something isn't always easy but when you throw into the situation love, children, mortgage, 17years together whatever sometimes you have to be that bigger person and FORGIVE.

if he cheated he's the one at fault. As for asking why is one trying to justify what he did you must be refering to some other question or something....Give us a clue...like the the what, where and when.
