Probably not. Don't forget that Coleridge also wrote 'The opium eaters'. Sorry - it was de Quincey who wrote 'The opium eaters'. Not much difference. The Lakes poets were stoned.

no, I don't think so, Shakespeare's characters reveal many more layers than that.
