I know quite a few people with a colon bag, it is unnoticable and they have benefited with them because in all cases their symptoms have been eased, my daughter's 14 year old friend has one and also my husbands cousin, he is 23, both still young, but it doesn't affect their daily lives, speak to your doctor for more imformation, good luck whatever you choose.

been there mate i know how you feel but look never mind the colon bag think how less pain you will be in when its over i have got my second op for it on Tuesday and don't think that you will get it again you you my not mine is quite bad so i hopefully will be having a hysterectomy as well that way i should'nt suffer with it any more and all the bag will do is save you from having to get up to go to the toilet you should only have it in for 24 hours anyway

Get an opinion from someone who has experience in excising (cutting out) endometriosis from all areas including non-gyn areas.

There are top experts when it comes to endometriosis throughout the country, some of them offer free records reviews to the patients.

In the mean time to get even more info about endo pls check out this site: http://www.endocenter.org

Not much help but at least you have a diagnosis and they will operate to help put it right, must be better than the pain you must be suffering at the moment? Good Luck.
