I love acting but there are not many opportunities available in my country. IIf circumstances permit,i might wanna move to another country. Where do i start? My parents dont take me seriously when i tell them that i would love to make it big in the acting world. I know it isnt easy...should i join an acting school?

acting is like every other art LOTS of hard work .... and LOTS of practice .... since there isn't much in your area read every book you can find, try the exercises take what works for you and leave the rest .. take every and any part you can get and remember the smaller roles are very ofton more challenging and interesting than the leads (my first role was a fluke, i replaced a temperamental actor in a role with one line but lots of stage time and was the only person in the show that got a good review ... next role was a lead) acting school is great way to go

If you have community theater opportunities then start there. Then start researching acting schools and asking around about which is the best. The join an acting school, and start trying to find an agent and work. I myself am getting into theater, but I just recently started looking for auditions. In the theater business you can't sit by and let opportunities find you, you have to go out and find them.

if Acting is what you should do do it and follow your dreams do not worry about your parents they will have to accept you the way you are and in time,they will come around and support you. what you have to do is go to the acting school and do it. with conviction

I don’t think it is a crazy dream. Just work at it as hard as you can. Maybe one day you will get a scholarship to enter into a reputed college where you can peruse your dream!!! Anything can come true if you dare to dream!!!!!!!

if you have real talent do what you want.... but yeah, amatuer theatre is the place to build on skills and then go to bigger and better stuff
