Personally I think it ought to be banned as obsecene, considering America was attacked by the coward Bin Ladden, as its a slp at all those who piad the utimate sacrifice,and to the families of those who paid and are in harms way. Since freedom of speech is limited here, I think they should ban imiages of Bin Ladden, whats your thoughts?

AS for Abdul, How can Bin Ladden be an innocent man and still have worked with an evil Bush?
For the actual question. Uh, I never thought of it that way. Haven't seen much Bin Laden, but seen a lot of Bush Osama hybrids. I guess it is insensitive to those who lost their lives in 9/11, but we do have freedom of speech and I put up with Hitler Avatars as well. I make smug remarks when I see them though. I think the Hitlers are violated out of Y!A. THe best we could do is ask for individuals to show restraint. I hate to see people ban the avatar. I go straight to the Hitler Avatar to see what the enemy thinks. Knowledge is a good way to protect ourselves. I feel that being able to identify a possible enemy quickly makes the job of those who are watching over us easier. They can use their thought to guess what they might be planning and how they think.

I must say that I'm not concerned at all. In my mind after reading numerous books and watching documentaries on the Arab - Israel conflict which goes back to more than half a century, the US has been extremely partisan towards Israel. Somebody attacked the US on 9/11. There had to be reasons. What were they. ?
On the other hand , after being displaced how frustrating would it have been for many Palestinians who were thus affected, begging for food, living hand to mouth., close relatives and friends killed in US backed conflicts... so why blame Osama ? If not Osama, it would have been somebody else.!

When I see a Bin Laden avatar I think that the person using it HAS to be clinically insane. Who else but the insane would not see that this man is a threat to this country and he has caused us so much pain already. I feel sorry for people who do not "get this" because...like I said...they HAVE to be NUTS! (or not LOVE America)

While I don't think that it should be banned, I find it in very, very bad taste. When someone has a bin Laden (in non-mocking way)avatar my first thoughts are "immature" and "asshole". My girlfriend's dad was killed in Tower 2 during the attack and I find it sickening how some people can be so insensitive to others.

I don't think it should be banned. Yahoo does enough censorship we don't need to encourage them to do more. When I see them though it does encourage me to read what filth they are putting out there and I feel free to point that out to them.
Remember that Y.A. is used by the whole world so there are many that hate Bush just as much as we hate OBL. You can see that by the answers your getting.
If I were to choose to use an OBL avatar mine would have him strung up by the neck :)
