I hate monday i always feel really down what do you do to get rid of the monday blues?

I play my fave songs, have a cup of coffee and a kit kat chocolate bar before the day starts and I am in a good mood all day. Or I just spend time on my myspace page and google some joke sites and keep myself entertained until I feel better about Monday then thereafter I get my work done. Monday is just a day closer to Friday! When you see it that way you cant go wrong.

I work in nursing facility and take every Monday off. I find that the moods of people are the worst on Monday. I work every weekend, so I don't need people being in a bad mood on Monday after having a weekend off. I also thought that it would be a good idea to change "dress down Friday" to "dress down Monday." That may change the mind set of a few people. Monday's always have been a down day and always will be!

funny i actually love mondays. Cos it's inspection day at the office. And i'm usually one of the best during inspection.

But dealing with the blues:...

listen to these songs, in this order:

1. On Our Last Night by Better Than Ezra
2. Lil' Star by Kellis featuring Cee Lo
3. In America by Down Here

if you can't get a hold of 3, then try
4. Island in the Sun by Emma Roberts or the original version by Weezer.

There was a study done on Mondayitis recently, apparently it is due to sleeping in on the weekend. Monday is a shock to the system because you have to get up early , which makes you feel crap, as the week wears on you get used to it again, and by Friday, you feel great (not to mention that it's the last day of the working week).

Aparently you should get up at the same time on the weekend that you do during the week, but who can resist a sleep in? I can't.

Monday Blues is mental state created by human beings.. So, change your mind set.. Keep telling yourself, you are eager to get to work or school on Monday morning. Write it on a piece of paper and stick it all over your house. Within a week, your sub conscious mind will understand this fact and your Monday Blues have gone off for good.
