Your questions are very random. I'm thinking someone would probably be throwing something away, then happen to see a business card for something cool, and then they call the number and therefore the business card was put to good use.

Biz cards cost money, since that one apparently was being thrown away, suggest you return card to person whose name is on it, and they can hand it out again to someone else.
