what are the best FREE anti virus, spyware and firewall to use?

I have virgin media pc guard at the moment . I dont think I like it wondered what other users recommend must be FREE

The following are programs i use at home as my standard post-format installation setup

Adware

Ad-Aware SE Personal
The SE Personal version of this program has the advanced features cut out of it, however it is still the best free product out there.

Anti-Virus

AVG Free
This product has replaced Norton Anti virus in my home, for one its free and two. My computer runs faster as it does not use as many resources as other products. Also AVG Free actually catches viruses, unlike some other products

Firewall

I'm afraid you need to bite the bullet here and shell out some cash if you really want a firewall. ZoneAlarm offers a 15 day trial, but after that you need to pay. If you truly want a working firewall its best to buy the product than rely on some of the other questionable products out there.

Either that or use Window's XP: Service Pack 2 Firewall

cant understand people still using AVG, i got many many messages from them telling me that after Feb 18th the free prog and updates would be stopped.

anyway, i went onto AVAST anti virus, so far every bit as good as AVG, regular updates and all free.
spybot search and destroy is what i use, neve rlet me down and again, free with free updates.
as for firewall, i actually went for a programme i never really liked, ZONE ALARM, but have to say it is working great, maybe the first time i tried it i was not sure what i was doing, but free with free updates again so no complaints.

For anti virus you're spoiled for choice, theres AVG or Avast and they're both good. AVG scores slightly higher in tests, but if you don't go clicking links in your messages or opening attatchments in e-mails its difficult to get a virus!

It is difficult to say what is the best but we have don test and the results that we got gave us the following:
Avast antivirus:
Cammodo firewall: only register for the free serial.
Spybot Search & Deastroy: Regester for the full features.

I have AVG which is free and seems to be very good and has regular updates. Easy to use and you can do your own system checks.
