The Champ. Jon Voight and a very young Ricky??? Damn, forgot that kids name, but he's been on NYPD Blue... The movie was about a former boxer who get's another "shot" at a fight or a Title, you'll have to forgive me, but it has been a long, long time since I've seen that movie. He's raising his son, by himself (I think) and he's got some kinda "something" that the doctors told him never to fight again, or something like that. All I know, the last scene, Man, I tell you what, if you can make it through that without crying... Then, YOU would be "the Champ". I'm not going to give up the whole story, (not that I seem to be remembering much anyway), but, that was, definitely the Best Boxing Movies ever.
Well, that and Raging Bull. Hard to pick really. And I thought this would be an "easy" answer.
Later.

My sought after ought to may be the first Rocky movie. That replaced into an inspiring and classic movie. i love it because it really is a movie about overcoming the possibilities and reaching the yank Dream. I also fairly loved The Fighter. That replaced into an mind-blowing movie because it replaced right into a acceptable picture of the starting up of Micky Ward's occupation. yet another one which i love is Raging Bull. That movie will continuously be on the proper of my record.

No Doubt the Rocky series (with the exception of #5 was awesome), but 'Cinderella man' and 'Raging Bull' have got to be up there too hey! Cos they each told stories about Boxers in really difficult times of their lives.

ROCKY hands down - people who dont even like boxing can get a lot of of his films. Personally i think Rocky 1 and Rocky Balboa are the best of them all.

Requiem for a Heavyweight
The movie shows the brutality and reality of the heights and depths to which humans can go.

Rocky IV without a doubt. It just flat out has an awesome story line. Drago kills his friend Apollo, he agrees to fight and train in Russia with poor equipment, Drago and the russian crowd turn on that ****** villanous trainer. And even though its fake as hell because two white guys will never be duking it out for the heavyweight championship of the world, they really get you to root for Rocky.
