You don't have to shut up, but I've discovered engaging the internal editor is a good idea. I used to say whatever popped into my head. Yeah. Not such a great idea. Now, I actually ask myself is the joy of saying whatever I think worth the consequences (and there are ALWAYS consequences). If the answer is "no", I keep my mouth shut.
I've also learned the value of just saying "okay" or "fine" when someone is being a twit. Once someone goes into twit mode, nothing you say is going to make it better..just worse.

Most people on here forget that this is a public forum...therefore one is allowed their own opinion. We are allowed to agree to disagree...
If we all thought alike what a boring world and there are spoil sports on here that will only accept one way --theirs.
